http://dl.friendlyarm.com/nanopim4v2 is the link that the wiki gives but it just brings me to a list of downloads. I see the M4 but not the M4V2.

I have tried the normal nanopi M4 OS but when you do...

cat /proc/cpuinfo

The cpu infomation is non-existent. It doesn't evven report that it's an arm processor. The features of the processor are missing too like vfpd* and neon.

in the link https://www.friendlyarm.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=69&product_id=268 in description (than in introduction) the differences in buttons and M4 has LPDD3 memory and M4 v2 has LPDDR4. As i know firmware not always compatible (or maybe even uncompatible) with other chip modules.

So, if you done all right, i think its better to ask techsupport about compatibility or availability firmware for Nanopi M4 V2
