NanoPi M4V2 memory performance

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Has anyone noticed that the memory bandwidth of the NanoPi M4v2 has half the memory bandwidth than the older NanoPi M4.

I was expecting more than the older NanoPi M4 or at least the same amount of memory bandwidth as the older NanoPi M4 (about 8Gbps) not half at (4.xGbps) when doing a memset and etc other benchmarks.

I was able to confirm this on my NanoPi M4v2 running some memory benchmarks and there's even a recent review article that mentions it as well here

The test were done using the ubuntu desktop environment provided by friendlyelec.
Take a look to this post for updated benchmarks on 5.4.1 kernel
