First let me say I am a first time poster. I searched well before posting this and hope I have it in the right sub form!

I know Friendly Elec has an Ubuntu Core image for 16.04, but i was wondering if one was built for 18.04? We are currently running hundreds of Neo Cores in production and are looking to do a potential upgrade. The ability to use snaps is a fantastic feature we would like to roll out.

Was wondering if this image was available for the NanoPi NEO Cores anywhere or if we would have to build it ourselves using:

There are also armbian server or minimal images with ubuntu and someone has tested snaps
successfully on a NanoPi Neo Air:

Maybe thats also a way for you/your company?
I dont know if it actually does work, because of

Snap should be supported. I don't use it - I use Docker. If something is missing by some mistake, Armbian has powerfull build tools which Ubuntu can't match https://github.com/armbian/build#compar ... -standards
