NVME support android?

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Hi!

Anybody know an elegant way to add an NVME SDD (via m.2 slot) and let it be recognized by android.

1) as a primary boot drive?
2) (other scenario) as secondary drive? (boot from emmc)?

Thanks in advance!

Joe
Hi Joe,

A quick search of NVME throws up a heap of finds in both the kernel and the Android source but not sure that it can be used as a boot device. Possibly a drive that you can access but I think only EMC or SD can be the boot drive under Android.

Running make menuconfig on the kernel source shows that the NVMe drivers are built into the T4 kernel itself.
