What do I need to do to add a new WLAN (wifi) device?
The device will connect via USB and behave like other wifi devices.
I have been able to compile the driver and install it through ADB.
I can even bring up a connection and move data.

However, I would like the device to be permanent and have android recognize it.
Where can I get information?

There is not setup file on every version i downloaded from your site.

If you can do this from ADB, you can likey build your own custom OS and then include the files you need.

Can you share what you did with ADB to get this working?

I've been trying to do this with the Nano Fire 3 with little to no success with Android 5.1

I can detect the USB module and logcat shows it being detected, but I can't get the driver to be loaded. My project is stalled because of this and FA have been no help with this even though that state that the Fire 3 supports a number of USB modules, it just does not work.
