Connecting power supply for R2S to the 5 V & GND pins on PCB

Hello,

I want to ask if it is possible to power R2S by connecting the power supply to the pins 5V and GND to the pin header on the PCB instead of using the USB type C connector for power.
I ask this because I want to use a custom project box with a power supply included and I would like to avoid the need for a USB type C cable inside the box.

Thanks

Does the schematic show these pins as an INPUT or OUTPUT?

Looking at the R2S schematic, the VDD_5V on the GPIO will allow you to power the board but put a fuse inline as there is no protection using that method.

Thanks.
I confirm the board works perfectly with power applied at the 5V and GND pins on the PCB header.

Pin 7 is the ground pin, it is used to provide power supply to the IC.
