Boot R2C plus from a sd-card instead off emmc.

Probably a simple question but how do you boot from a sdcard with the R2C plus (with EMMC)
I read the wiki and it just does not work. i tried the shorting of the short-circuit the Maskrom contacts this works but that must be the worst way ever to change the boot order. Tried the second way by entering this dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=8M count=1when booted from the emmc memory. This does nothing the board just boots from emmc.
Is there somebody who can explain to me how the boot from a sd-card or change the boot-order etc.
