DNS traffic in my home network is being lifted by a single pi zero now, connected to a small DC UPS which also powers the router. Any outage will be really inconvenient for my roommate, who works from home. Therefore, redundancy has become a must.

Currently I can't find any rpi zeros in stock. So I'm considering ordering a couple of Nanopi Neos. I'm planning to use those exclusively for pi-hole, and repurpose the present rpi zero for something else.

Will it be a bad idea to switch to these SBCs? I'm concerned about power consumption of these SBCs. If the Neos need more than 1 amp power, the mini UPS probably will not be able to keep up. So any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
