Hello,

I want to power my NanoPi with a PoE splitter.
I see that they support 5V and 12V.
I'm thinking of using this:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001309240177.html 12V/2A + this adapter https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003198918750.html (DC 5.5 x 2.1mm female to USBC)

Will it be possible? I plan to use it on the NanoPi R6S as well as the R5S.

I don't make a new topic in R5S, so it won't be taken as spam.

A device will only draw as much current as it needs, so you can get a splitter with a higher amperage rating and the device will be good. If the device can't draw enough current, it could damage it or prevent it from booting up.

Also look at the specs of your port to ensure it can handle the draw. At 12V/0.5A, you're only pulling 6W which should easily be handled by 802.3a
