100pF capacitors in the Ethernet interface

Why are the 100pF capacitors installed differently in the 1G_Ethernet (C141, C142) and 2.5G_Ethernet (C9609, C9610, C9611, C9612) schematics? What is the physical purpose of these capacitors for Yellow & Green LEDs inside of connector RJ-45?
