link speed inconsistent

After a reboot the openwrt shows that the WAN link is 2.5GbE. After a few hours it shows 1GBE. This is very weird. Can the customer support explain this behavior?

I faced similar behaviour years ago with 1 GbE network setup at home and after many months I discovered that I had two problems:

- One was linked to cables (degraded) quality next to main power cables ;
- Another issue came from a device switching dow to 100 Mbps and slowing down the entire network...

At 2.5 Gbps, I would rather make sure that my cables are really good ones from reliable manufacturers instead from famous brands or sellers.

Just some personal experience and best practice shared with you. ;-)
