External Power Button

I would like to attach a typical PC power button so that I can mount the CM3588 NAS Kit in a custom case. Is there a way to add something like this? I did some research in GPIO but nothing seemed obvious. Hoping this is something simple but will to do some research if someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks!
For anyone curious I ended up using the green terminal block connectors to wire up a power button and bypassing the built in barrel connector. Not sure if the best way, but works fine. I also ended up ditching a physical button altogether on later iteration and just use an inline Shelly switch (Shelly 1 Plus) to control the 12v Supply. Since these seem to turn on automatically when power is supplied, it is very simple to turn these on and off with my phone using the home assistant integration.

I've attached 2 photos showing the Home assistant integration to control 8 CM3588. I'm using these for a project called Autonomys (uses SSD/NVMEs to farm crypto) and 8 of these with 4x4TB NVMEs are only using between 118-130W which is really fantastic.

I have a Meanwell 350W PSU that provides 12v to 2 DIN rails with a distribution block. There is a DIN rail behind the CM3588s which have a 3d printed case for the Shelly switch and the WAGO connectors that are needed. Then from the Shelly switch I can simply plug them into the CM3588 barrel input. Super clean and easy.
