OMV - on RK3588 NAS Kit

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Dear,
I would buy the RK3588 NAS KIT with n.4 Nvme to install OMV.

My idea is:
eMMC storage: install OS OMV
SSD1: LINUX file system with shared folder "DATA"
SSD2: Backup disk for "DATA" folder formatted in NTFS file system to be able to unplug the SSD and move in windows PC if needed.

Is it possible use USB backup o RSync servive to have a daily backup from SSD1 (linux file system) folder to SSD2 (windows file system) folder?

Many thanks!
Yes, you can use rsync for daily backups from your SSD1 (Linux) to SSD2 (NTFS) by mounting the NTFS drive on OMV. USB backups are also possible, but rsync is a more automated solution. Just make sure to set up the correct permissions and scheduling for the backup process.
