Enabling UART on GPIO?

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

hi all

i'm trying to enable UART0 on cm3588. i have tried a variety of ways but am not getting anywhere.

i have tried enabling the entry in the DTS file to "okay" within /usr/src/linux-headers-6.1.57/arch/arm64/boot/dts/rockchip/rk358
8-nanopi6-rev09.dts but it doesn't help.

I have discovered that FIQ0 is the debug console which i have manged to boot into U-Boot but can't figure out if there are any parameters to include to enable UART.

There is another port enabled on boot at /dev/ttyS6 but that doesn't seem to be the correct serial port either.
Am i enabling it correctly? CAn anyone provide some guidance?

thank you

Make sure to connect with the non-standard 1,500,000 baud rate.
