Out of all the SBC’s I own this one burnt… I paid for shipping back to China and they still did not want to replace the board for me. Purchase Friendlyelec products at your own risk…. They’re not very “friendly” |

Lovely board, even better with the inexpensive yet massive heat sink. So much capability. I used Armbian from https://www.armbian.com/ and I love it. Armbian will install Docker for you, you can also run the OS off of: micro SD card (bad!!), USB 3.0 thumb drive (much more stable and faster), eMMC (~300 MB/s, getting to blasting speeds) or SSD via USB 3.0 to Sata adapter (Blastoff!!!). Even though SSD is faster, I used the eMMC and it is very fast and agile. Temps are solid with the 6$ heat sink. eMMC drive was not too expensive either (~$15 on sale). I really like my setup, even more than my PI 4 (4 GB). |
