SUGGESTION | According to customer feedback, the CM3588 NAS Kit is incompatible with certain Western Digital SSDs, including the WD Blue SN580 NVMe SSD and the WD Black SN850 NVMe SSD. It is recommended to use NVMe SSDs of other brands or models. If you are using one of these drives, note that Western Digital has officially released firmware updates. We strongly recommend backing up your data, connecting the drive to a Windows PC, and using Western Digital's official tool to update the firmware to the latest version. I got the maxed out version of this and installed OpenMediaVault on it per the wiki. It works excellent as a NAS! It's plenty fast, in fact most of the system resources aren't used so it's overkill in a way, but I'm glad that it's overkill because that means it's future-proof with a lot of headroom. I recommend this to all of my friends who need a NAS. |

Amazing little board (CM3588 puls & NAS Kit). Installed Ubuntu 24. All went smoothly. SSDs were recognized right away and all is working perfectly. I'm really impressed by the fantastic documentation all the way down to the circuit diagrams and the software support. Idles at 2.5W with two SSDs installed. |

Bought this board almost a six months ago, I tried to onboard my SSDS more than a 100 times. Its not taking more than TWO SSD at a time. I tried switching the SSD bays and SSD to make sure it is not an SSD issue. I purchased a higher amp adapter as instructed by the seller, but that doesn't help. I do not know what to do with this now. |

Very good board. It is running as NAS with 19 docker containers (like Home Assistant, Jellyfin etc). It has been pretty stable so far (I got it up and running about 4 months ago). I got a custom case 3d printed and has a noctua fan on the top side. Idle temperature always less than 40°C and never beyond 60°C (even if I run stress command putting all CPU cores to 100%). |

Bought 32/256 version - this thing is a beast, I can't even hit 100% cpu usage, it is around 3x faster than current pi5 that I run on. I use m.2 to sata adapters and it runs really stable, since I bought it there hasn't been a single crash, it's uptime is essentially as long as I have the board. Very good product. |
